HVJ has provided construction materials testing services for many of the largest venues in Texas including Cowboy Stadium in Arlington and Reliant Stadium, Minute Maid Park, and George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.

Frisco Square, Frisco, Texas
HVJ is performing project management and inspection services for the construction of 68 multiple city structures and various city streets. HVJ oversees all construction activities and insures construction is performed in accordance with plans and specifications and on a timely schedule. HVJ also completes as-builts and verifies contractors submitted quantities for payment.

Spur 601, El Paso, Texas
El Paso has the state's first ever private-sector pass-through financing agreement to accelerate transportation improvements. HVJ is providing construction materials testing for the 7.4-mile-long concrete roadway, which will carry six and four lanes of traffic, with asphalt connections and a 6,000-foot-long, 116-foot-wide, 16.6-foot high bridge atop an existing service road. A portion of roadway will be elevated, allowing motorists to enter and leave via a new gate without traffic lights.

Harris County Toll Road Authority's Westpark Tollway
HVJ provided construction materials testing for the tollway, Briar Bend to Eldridge. Scope included complete inspection and testing of concrete, concrete mix design reviews, foundation inspection, slurry testing for shafts, soil compaction testing, laboratory moisture density curves, Atterberg limit and aggregate testing. HVJ also provided quality assurance construction materials testing for the extension from Eldridge to SH 99. Scope of testing included full spectrum of construction materials quality assurance testing such as concrete, soil, and aggregate testing.

Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas
HVJ provided construction materials testing including an onsite laboratory for the 200,000-square foot Research Facility; 166,000-square foot Eye Institute; 65,000-square foot DeBakey Library, and currently the 1.2-million square foot McNair Campus.

Educational Facilities
HVJ has provided construction materials testing for the University of Houston at both the Houston and Sugar Land campuses; Texas A&M Multi-Purpose Library; Houston ISD's Coop, Bowie, and Thompson elementary schools; and Fort Bend ISD's Willow Ridge, Travis, and Taylor High Schools.

Cemex Balcones Plant, New Braunfels, Texas
HVJ provided construction materials testing for the addition of a second kiln to the operations which will double cement production capacity to 2.4 million tons. HVJ inspected drilled piers for depth, diameter, and cleanliness of the bottom of the pier. Also inspected the reinforcing steel prior to concrete placement. Concrete was monitored on a 24/7 basis using slip-form procedures for a 318-foot pre-heat tower and a 222-foot silo.
