HVJ evaluated land and rights-of-way for the presence of hazardous materials, under Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA). We conducted wetland delineations along White Oak Bayou and Buffalo Bayou watersheds.

Harris County Public Infrastructure Department

HVJ conducted Phase I and II ESA and wetland delineations along sections of Tanner, Telge, Grant, and Blackhawk Roads. We performed a subsurface assessment of the Weible Landfill, an abandoned site in east Harris County.

Land Development


HVJ performed Phase I and II ESAs and wetland delineations on properties for Vantage Properties along the Sam Houston Toll Road, in the City of Pearland, and in San Antonio.

Houston Metropolitan Transit Authority

HVJ won a 2-year contract with the transit authority to provide engineering, assessment and remediation services. The contract encompassed: ambient air monitoring/indoor air quality, asbestos abatement and management planning, community right-to-know compliance, emergency response planning assistance, lead-based paint sampling and abatement, noise and vibration testing and analysis, polychlorinated biphenyls assessment and remediation, site assessments for property acquisition and transfer, solid and non-hazardous waste management, storm water permitting, regulatory response actions, toxic and hazardous materials and waste consulting, underground storage tank management, wastewater treatment and discharge, wetlands delineation and assessment, and worker health and safety compliance.
