Cooperation and Partnership Pave Way for Texas Heritage Parkway

January 13, 2022

Successful mobility projects result from cooperation and partnership, and the Texas Heritage Parkway is no exception in HVJ Associates® recent repertoire.  Featuring more than ½ dozen traffic circles (roundabouts without signal lights), beautifully landscaped esplanades and a regional multi-use trail with pedestrian crossing tunnels is unlike any other road in the Houston area. With the Fort Bend portion opening shortly after an August 20, 2021 ribbon cutting ceremony, this $55+ Million mobility project will ultimately connect I-10 and FM 1093 in Fulshear, TX.

As sub-consultant to BGE, Inc., HVJ is grateful for this opportunity to provide Construction Inspection Services throughout all three segments of this long-awaited Fort Bend County project, managed by TxDOT.

Local travelers are already seeing relief from traffic congestion in the immediate Cross Creek Ranch area. With continued growth in the Fulshear/West Katy areas, this new roadway will significantly serve to mitigate traffic on the Westpark Tollway, FM 1463, and SH 99.
