HVJ Wins 3-Year Pavement Rehab Contract with City of Austin

With a 20-year history of successful projects for The City of Austin HVJ Associates® was awarded 3-year$3,000,000 contract for Civil Engineering Services by the cityTotal estimated construction cost for this Arterial Street Pavement Rehabilitation Program is $24,250,000.  HVJ is pleased to be involved in this public works project that advances community-focused goals of safe and reliable options for Austin.  

HVJ Associates® will deliver construction contract documents for traditional street pavement rehabilitation as well as full-depth pavement reclamation, which includes contractor bid review, existing pavement, evaluation, defining appropriate pavement rehabilitation alternatives, developing construction PS&E documents, and field engineering support.  

The first assignment in this program was the Southwest Parkway Pavement Rehabilitation project, which extends from Mission Oaks Boulevard to West William Cannon. A total of 33 lane miles will be improved through both the rehabilitation and maintenance projects combined—providing a distance of 6+ miles of improved roadway along Southwest Parkway.
