Real-Time CoMET Solutions for A&M's First Urban Campus

April 28, 2026

At HVJ, we take pride in helping build and improve communities. We are excited to have recently contributed to a landmark project in North Texas - the new Law & Education Building at Texas A&M University System’s first urban campus. With the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area projected to become the nation’s third largest by 2028, this new campus will be an anchor in meeting workforce demands and strengthening the area's economy.

Our comprehensive on-call construction materials testing (CMT) and inspection services required close coordination to meet an accelerated construction schedule. With multiple activities and testing disciplines occurring simultaneously on-site, success demanded constant, real-time communication among field teams, laboratory staff, and project stakeholders to keep every phase perfectly aligned.

“This project was a great example of how strong coordination and timely testing can directly impact construction quality and schedule," explained Ranadheer Burra, Construction Inspector for the project. "It was rewarding to be part of a project associated with Texas A&M University, knowing that our work will support a long-term academic facility. This project highlighted how critical timely testing, clear communication, and teamwork are in delivering a successful outcome while maintaining safety and quality standards.”

Learn more about the multi-step process we implemented to provide continuous support for the project and how we addressed strength verification challenges to keep it on track.
